AUSTRALIAN OUTDOOR LIVING $15K GIVEAWAY COMPETITION

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This document contains information on how to enter and prize details form part of these conditions. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.

The Promoter is Australian Outdoor Living, ACN/ABN 24 519 482 665 of 589 South Road, Regency Park, South Australia 5010.

The Promotion will be open from 12:00 pm Australian Central Daylight Time (ACDT) on 6 July 2020 and will continue until 11:59 am ACDT on 4 August 2020.

Entry is open to all SA, WA, VIC, NSW, QLD and ACT residents, aged 18 years and over, other than management, employees or contractors of the Promoter and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promotion, and their immediate families.

Australian Outdoor Living insists on maintaining a family-friendly social environment. We reserve the right to delete any comment that we feel, at our absolute discretion, does not align with our brand values or is offensive in any way. Please keep this in mind when posting a comment or photo on our competition related ads and posts.

Competition:

To enter and be eligible to win, Eligible Entrants must:

a) Visit the Australian Outdoor Living competition page located at https://www.australianoutdoorliving.com.au/aol-15th-birthday-win
b) Enter their name, state and email address
c) Answer the question – Do you own your own home?
d) Answer the question – What excites you most about having a backyard makeover?
e) Agree to sign up to the Australian Outdoor Living mailing list
f) ‘Like’ the Australian Outdoor Living page on Facebook

Eligible Entry:

Completion of each of the above steps (a) to (f) is an Eligible Participation.

Only one entry per Eligible Entrant will be accepted.

All competition answers to the question, “What excites you most about having a backyard makeover” will be considered by an employee of Australian Outdoor Living and the employee will choose the answer they like best. All entrants will be considered equal in the judging process.

The winner must grant Australian Outdoor Living permission to take photos and videos of the installation process and final product, and republish these materials in both digital and print formats.

Prize:

The winning entry will receive 1 x Australian Outdoor Living products package up to the retail value of $15,000.

Eligible products include outdoor blinds, roller shutters, artificial grass, pergolas, verandahs, decking and carports depending on state and territory availability. The backyard makeover prize does not extend to an Australian Outdoor Living swimming pool.

The backyard makeover must take place within an Australian Outdoor Living metro serviceable area in Sydney, Newcastle and Central Coast NSW, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Canberra or Adelaide.

The total Prize pool is valued at $15,000 RRP (including GST).

The Prize draw will take place on 5 August 2020 at 12:00 pm. The Prize draw will take place at 589 South Road, Regency Park, South Australia 5010. The draw will be conducted by a representative of the Promoter. One Eligible Entrant will be announced as prize winner. The Prize winner will be notified via email on 5 August 2020 at 1:00pm. The winner will need to respond to the email and accept the prize before 9:00am on 12 August 2020 to arrange the retrieval of their prize.

In the event that the Prizes are unclaimed by 9:00am on 12 August 2020, it will be distributed at the promoter’s absolute discretion. The Promoter’s decision (including any decisions as to prize distribution) is final and will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.

The Prize winner’s name will be published on the Australian Outdoor Living website and social media pages.

General:

The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.

If the Promoter is unable to provide the winner with the nominated Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of equal or greater monetary value, subject to written directions by the relevant state and territory gaming departments.

If the winner chooses not to take their Prize (or is unable to), they forfeit the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the Prize.

If the winner has recently (within the promotional period – since Monday July 6 2020) purchased through Australian Outdoor Living, they are entitled to deduct their purchase value  from the $15,000 prize value and use the remaining dollar value towards a new Australian Outdoor Living backyard makeover project. Products limited to those available in the winner’s state, as outlined above.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Promotion Period. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter.

The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. Incomplete, illegible and incorrect entries or entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win.

If this competition is disrupted for any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, Kuchel Enterprises Pty Ltd T/As Australian Outdoor Living Pty Ltd is not liable for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries.

Any entrant who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry mechanism in any way, or who does not properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible to win.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions of entry. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding on each entrant and no correspondence will be entered into.
