Australian Christmas Light Displays You Can’t Miss!
Christmas is probably our favourite time of year – great weather, time with friends and family, presents and backyard cricket! There is just so much to love about the festive season, but probably the best part of the year for us is seeing the way people dress up their homes with decorations and lights to create little Christmas wonderlands!
We’ve scoured our local neighbourhoods and the internet (we don’t have special powers like Santa to see the whole country in less than a few hours!) to find some of the country’s most beautiful outdoor Christmas displays for you to visit with your loved ones.
The Boulevard in Ivanhoe lights up this time of year with most houses getting involved to create an incredible street-long display which attracts over 44,000 visitors each year!
Check out this great article in the Herald Sun about this year’s lights.
Allumba Drive, St Helena

Gordon Grove, Preston
The guys at 47 Gordon Grove in Preston put on a big display each year, with over 40,000 computerised lights all synced to music. Head down after 8.45pm with your family and tune the radio to 97.5FM to hear the carols.
