The Colonel’s Boys racing in 2017’s Sh*tbox Rally

WARNING & APOLOGIES IN ADVANCE: Against our better judgement, we elude to the ‘S – WORD’. Unfortunately this is the official name of the event and there wasn’t much way around it. Because it’s for a good cause, we’ve decided to grin and bear it and hope you’ll understand.

Sh*tbox Rally is a challenge to drive cars worth $1,000 or less across Australia via some of our toughest roads to raise funds for cancer research. Over the past seven years, Sh*tbox Rally has raised more than $10 million, making the rally the largest independent fundraiser for Cancer Council nationally. We think this is pretty impressive stuff.

The 2017 Sh*tbox Rally is a 3,800km seven-day journey from Adelaide to Cairns via the Oodnadatta Track and Plenty Highway. Australian Outdoor Living is proud to be a team partner for Matt Gauci and Ben Wells, who are driving a 1996 Daihatsu Charade. We can’t wait to cheer on the boys as they join a convoy of 200 teams heading off from Adelaide on the 27th of May. Make sure you visit their website to keep up to date with all the latest information and make a donation of your own to an incredibly worthy cause.

Australian Outdoor Living is very proud to associate with two young men who are donating their time and efforts into such a worthy cause. Good on you Colonel’s Boys!
