Originally formed at the Tea Tree Gully Hotel by three old school mates, the Houghton Districts Football Club has a proud history of success. The club has won four premierships – 1984, ’85, ’86 and ’99 – and produced several players who have gone on to win Association Best and Fairest and leading goal kicker awards.
The club has grown immensely since its inception, with many devoted fans gathering each weekend to support their beloved Raiders. The club’s home ground is located in the picturesque Adelaide Hills area of Houghton, a mere stone’s throw from the village square.
Australian Outdoor Living first joined forces with the Houghton Districts Football Club back in 2017. Since then we have enjoyed being involved in both the club and the local community and we look forward to seeing HDFC thrive in 2019.
