We are immensely proud to be involved with Variety: the Children’s Charity. The people behind Variety have big hearts, working tirelessly to help children and families who are facing many challenges through sickness, disadvantage or living with a disability. Their hard work and efforts allow children to gain mobility and freedom, communicate, achieve independence, increase self-esteem and, where possible, provide assistance to help them integrate into mainstream school and activities.
Each year in collaboration with FIVEaa, VarietySA hosts a live Radiothon and online auction event to raise much-needed funds for South Australian children. Their Radiothon gives people the opportunity to bid on 10 items, one auctioned each hour of the day. One of these items is an Australian Outdoor Living swimming pool package.
Australian Outdoor Living has been part of the Variety Radiothon for six years running, and we have been so pleased to have donated $250,000 in pool packages to raise a total of $179,738 to help well-deserving families affected by illness.
